- OemmaBTS29670: I have to agree with you in regards to JK in 2013. I raised a boy and during those early times when they are 15 and 17 like Kookie and Jimin were, they are still figuring out sex and sexuality and what it means to be either Gay, Straight, or Bi or anything else for that matter. It had to be difficult for Kookie to accept and reciprocate Jimin's affections in any form. I think Kookie needed to time to figure those things out and Jimin wasn't going to go anywhere in particular but I think there was a push on both sides at some point between 2013 and 2018 where Jimin was backing off because it was so hurtful and Kookie was rejecting because he didn't know how to respond. Also, they live in a society that represses the LGBTQ+ community. I'm not necessarily saying that Kookie or Jimin fits under that banner per se, but I'm still trying to wrap my mind around a friend saying that someone can be in love with another of the same sex and not be Gay. Ok...but that's really not the point. The point is that it is blatently obvious that Jimin and Kookie have a relationship that is very much love based and I don't mean he's just my brother kind of love. I mean deep, soul-filling, one-to-one, love...yes, boyfriends. I think that Kookie needed time to realize that his feelings for Jimin are that deep. That meant giving more of himself that he was originally very uncomfortable doing but has learned to do to win Jimin's love and attention back. They really can't be without each other. It's obvious. Kookie cant even wait for Jimin to come into the Pensioner they were staying at for Run #54. The smile on his face said everything about how much Jimin is valued and important in his life. He was so sad when he realized in winning the game at they hypermarket he lost his love (only temporarily and you know how jealous Kookie gets when Jimin has someone else's attention). He looked like he lost his puppy. I love JiKook. They are my air that I breathe.
